not the water, but the endless possibilities

looking for answers in strangers' faces,
in foreign places.

the best scent in the world
is that of coconut tanning oil
on a sizzling hot beach.
no better feelings
than sand, water and heat.
no better taste than salt
in the air, on your lips, in your skin.
no better sound
than the waves and the wind
in the palm trees
claps of thunder.

so that is what i will look for
