in the paper today, i noticed the section that announces divorces. i guess they have to be publicly stated for legal purposes.
but there is no comparable section for weddings.
of course, certainly there is the section where the smiling bride and groom can PAY to have their upcoming nuptials announced.
why do the divorces HAVE to be announced but the marriages don't?
